Registering a waitlist application when an Admin Fee is required

This step-by-step guide will assist parents registering a waitlist application for a new service where an Admin Fee is required. This is only for services that have directed you to My Family Lounge OR you see the My Family Lounge login/register screen on the Service's website

Step 1 - Register for My Family Lounge

  • To register an account locate the My Family Lounge section on the Child Care Centre's website
  • Press the Register button

  • Enter your given name and surname. Enter and confirm your email address
  • Press Register

  • A Complete Registration email will be delivered to your inbox. Click on the blue Complete Registration button

  • To complete the registration process create and then confirm a password
  • Accept the Terms and Conditions when ready then press Complete Registration

  • You have now registered your account with My Family Lounge. Click on the Click Here link to log into your new account using your email address and password

Step 2 - Entering your details

  • Complete your details by entering your relationship to the child, at least 1 phone number and address details
  • Answer the question regarding your CRN and tick Yes to create a user account
  • Press Save & Next

Step 3 - Add Child Details

  • Tick the box at the top left of screen if your child in unborn
  • Otherwise enter your child's details as requested
  • If you wish to advise the centre of something not included in this form, enter this in the Additional Information box
  • Tick your Authorisations in relation to this child and enter your Priority of Access if required
  • Press Make Permanent Booking

Step 4 - Add Waitlist Details

  • Tick your child's name
  • Select the type of care and choose the centre name from the drop down menu
  • Choose a preferred start date, number of days required and advise whether you will accept less days
  • Tick your preferred days and tick any days that do not suit your needs
  • Enter any comments around your needs, flexibility or any other comments relating to your requestUser-added image
  • You will note information regarding the Admin fee displayed at the bottom of the screen, advising the cost and terms
  • Press Save and Finish

Step 5 - Pay the Admin Fee

  • You are now viewing your My Family Lounge account. You will notice the message at the top of screen advising that your Waitlist application is not active until the Admin Fee of $XX is paid

  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen and press Pay

  • You will be directed to the secure Online Payment form where you can make payment

Your waitlist application is now valid. The service will be in contact once a position is available
